* Craig Cole has been appointed president of Performance Mortgage Co. in Santa Ana, effective Sept. 1. He succeeds David S. Zuckerman, who remains as chairman and chief executive. Cole was formerly an account manager for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. for nine years.
