Man, 42, Found Fatally Beaten on Pacoima Parkway

A 42-year-old man was beaten to death and his body dumped early Saturday on a parkway in Pacoima, police said.
The man, whose identity was not released pending notification of his family, was discovered at 4:17 a.m. near Herrick Avenue and Daventry Street by a passing motorist, said Los Angeles Police Sgt. Ken Roth.
The man had been beaten with an unknown weapon, Roth said. Homicide detectives are investigating.
