Nation IN BRIEF : FLORIDA : Endeavour Returns; Next Crew Prepares

NASA completed one spacewalking shuttle mission and rehearsed for another one that also will help prepare for the crucial Hubble Space Telescope repairs. The next mission is to begin in two weeks. Endeavour and its six astronauts made a morning touchdown at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida two days late with a science satellite they snared in orbit and some tips for the Hubble repair crew. A record five and possibly seven spacewalks are planned during the December link-up with Hubble--Endeavour’s next flight. The 10-day flight lasted two days longer than intended because bad weather scuttled Tuesday and Wednesday’s landing attempts.
