Man Dies of Car Collision Injuries

ANAHEIM — A 40-year-old man died early Wednesday from injuries suffered in a head-on collision with another car at Brookhurst Street and Lincoln Avenue, police said.
Bruce Lee Shein of La Mirada died at 3 a.m. at UCI Medical Center in Orange where he was taken with head and chest injuries.
Shein was driving west on Lincoln Avenue toward Brookhurst Street in an “erratic manner shortly before the accident,” at 1:21 p.m. on Tuesday, Anaheim Police Sgt. Chuck Craig said.
Witnesses told police that Shein drove into the left-turn lane of the intersection but, instead of turning left, continued driving straight and crashed into a car.
The driver of that car suffered minor injuries and was taken to Martin Luther Hospital in Anaheim where she was treated and released.
An investigation into the accident is continuing, Craig said.
