Anti-Drug Workers to Conduct Day of Outreach at Park

BELL GARDENS — The Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse will sponsor a Street Outreach at Bell Gardens Park, 6662 Loveland St., beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Outreach workers carry their anti-drug message to areas where drug abusers congregate. Information will be available about drug detoxification, outpatient drug counseling, residential drug treatment, alcohol- and drug-free living centers, methadone maintenance and 12-step programs.
Outreach workers also will provide bleach kits and condoms to those at risk of HIV transmission and AIDS.
