A 31-year-old Newbury Park man was shot in the face and stomach early Sunday at his home following an argument, sheriff’s investigators said.
Frank Kish was listed in critical condition in the intensive care unit at Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, hospital officials said Sunday.
Investigators found Kish about 2:20 a.m. Sunday inside the house in the 3900 block of San Marcos Court with gunshot wounds to the face and stomach. Deputies also found his roommate, 27-year-old Todd Love, outside the house and arrested Love on suspicion of attempted murder.
Love was taken to the emergency room for treatment of an injury to his nose before being booked into Ventura County Jail, investigators said. Deputies said an investigation is continuing.
