Races Washed Out at Saugus, Ventura

Stock-car racing at Saugus Speedway and Ventura Raceway were among the area events rained out Saturday night.

Saugus’ program of NASCAR Sportsman, Grand American Modified and Street Stock oval and figure-eight racing on the one-third-mile paved oval will not be rescheduled, track spokesman Lee Baumgarten said.

Ventura’s lineup of United States Auto Club Midgets on the quarter-mile dirt oval was rescheduled for June 26, track spokesman Cliff Morgan said.
