Consolidated Owners Buy Back Interest

WESTMINSTER — The majority owners of California Consolidated Technology Inc. bought out an Australian company’s interest in the specialty metal-making firm, the company announced Tuesday.
Owners Thomas G. Haynes Jr. and Joan Haynes, who founded privately held California Consolidated Technology five years ago, paid $1 million to buy back the 29% of the company previously owned by Comalco Aluminum Ltd. of Melbourne, Australia.
California Consolidated Technology in Westminster makes light aluminum-based products, ranging from tennis rackets to radiation shields.
