In Division II matches:
Esperanza 3, Thousand Oaks 0--Paul Nihipali had 21 kills and Brad Goldston had 17 for Esperanza (16-1), which won 15-7, 16-14, 15-11.
Foothill 3, Lakewood 2--Rich Lambourne had 43 kills and Matt Gerard had 22 kills and Spencer Campbell had 72 assists for Foothill (15-2), which won 13-15, 15-13, 13-15, 16-14, 9-15. The Knights advanced to play the winner of Simi Valley Royal-Canyon Country Canyon match Wednesday. Lakewood finished at 15-2.
In Division III:
Whittier Christian 3, LA Baptist 0--Derek Beard had 14 kills to lead Whittier Christian (17-0), which won 15-9, 15-7, 15-9.
