NATION IN BRIEF : VIRGINIA : 3 More Are Punished in Tailhook Case

The admiral reviewing allegations of misconduct stemming from the Navy’s Tailhook convention disciplined three more officers, bringing to 10 the number of officers punished this week. The punishments are being meted out as part of a review of allegations against 120 officers being conducted in Norfolk, Va., by Vice Adm. J. Paul Reason, commander of the Atlantic surface fleet. In the latest proceedings, two lieutenants and one lieutenant commander were cited for indecent exposure. Reason ordered them to forfeit $1,000 of pay and issued letters of admonition to each.
