ROYAL REUNION: Huntington Beach Union High School District board member Bonnie P. Castrey ran a little late at this week’s meeting. But, as excuses go, this one wasn’t bad. She’d just flown in from Germany, where she’d been talking politics with its president, Richard Von Weizaecker. Actually, she’d been to a familientag --family reunion--and the president just happens to be her cousin. They have different backgrounds. “We were flour millers,” Castrey says of her ancestry. Von Weizaecker is the son of a baron and grandson of a prime minister.
