Lan Wei of China scored the meet’s only perfect 10 at Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., winning his third consecutive three-meter springboard title at the Alamo International diving championships.
In the women’s platform final, Svetlana Khokhlova of Russia won her first international event. The 19-year-old had 417.30 points to edge 14-year-old Xiong Min of China (414.18).
Lan, 25, finished his 11-dive list with 704.16 points, the eighth springboard diver to top the 700 mark. Lan’s inward 3 1/2-somersault capped his list with a 95.88, including a 10 and four 9.5s.
