Students’ Choice: “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” has been voted Film of the Year in the Scholastic’s Student Choice Awards, an annual national survey of more than 30,000 junior high and high school students across the country. Runners-up included “Batman Returns,” “Malcolm X” and “Sister Act.” In other categories, “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” was selected as best TV series and Metallica was named best hard-rock band.
