Thousand Oaks’ Krim Picks Harvard to Play Football

Kevin Krim, a Thousand Oaks High linebacker/tight end, will play at Harvard of the Ivy League next season. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound senior is projected at outside linebacker for the Division III Crimson. Krim has a 4.6 grade-point average.
Because East Los Angeles College recently dropped football, the Foothill Conference has announced that the eight remaining members will play one conference rival two times next season, with the first meeting not counting as a conference game.
Soccer
Dani Verry of Thousand Oaks High has committed to play soccer at Cal State Chico. Verry, a sweeper, is the two-time Lancer defensive MVP. She also is a member of an under-19 all-star team that will play in a national tournament in Albuquerque, N.M., June 19-23.
