Combat Missions for Women

Re your editorial “Prejudice Will No Longer Do,” April 29: Let’s see if I’ve got this straight. You want all women 18 years of age to register for the stand-by draft. I know I’m old-fashioned but I’ll bet a bundle that less than a very noisy 10% of women in this country want to serve in the military. I think you blew this one.

As for the noisy 10%, “look at the fine mess you’ve got (the rest of) us into now, Stan.”
