University of Arizona freshman Jason Gore, a graduate of Newhall Hart High, won the Pacific 10 individual golf title on the second hole of a sudden death playoff at Goleta, Calif.
Gore beat Todd Demsey of Arizona State. Both players had final round scores of 70 and had 284 after 72 holes.
Arizona State won the team title over Arizona. UCLA was third.
