Two men received lengthy prison terms Wednesday for committing a string of armed robberies at fast-food outlets throughout the San Fernando Valley.
Paul Arthur Landix, 26, of Reseda was sentenced to 26 years and four months in state prison for his conviction on seven counts of robbery.
Superior Court Judge Howard J. Schwab also sentenced Lamont Aaron Macon, 19, of Canoga Park to 13 years in state prison for his conviction on the same charges.
Both men pleaded guilty to the same charges, but Landix received the longer term in state prison because he was armed with a .38-caliber handgun during the robberies.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Gloria Mas said the men were arrested in a car soon after a Del Taco restaurant in Van Nuys and a Jack In The Box in Canoga Park were robbed early June 17.
Landix and Macon were counting cash and had drink containers from both restaurants when police apprehended them, Mas said.
