Closing Bases in California

Hooray! The Department of Defense is considering the closing of the El Toro Marine Corps Air Base. For years the jet jockeys have been getting their kicks by rattling our windows, preventing us from hearing the TV or the telephone and keeping us awake at night. Why is it some jets can fly over and you hardly hear them? But then here come the jet jockeys who seem to get a thrill out of making as much noise as possible.
Our complaints to the base have been presented to deaf ears. Once the noise of the jets has gone we might be able to sell our homes.
