Clean Up or Shut Up

If you need help in figuring out how to raise money to help educate the children of the Las Virgenes School District, an affluent district, make the parents pay.
How about $50 per month per student? Multiplied by 10,000 that gives the district an additional $500,000 per month. And after graduation, the parents will no longer have the burden of supporting the school district.
It is very annoying to listen to the complaints that there is not enough money for janitors, etc.
How come there is trash all over the campuses? The students throw it there. They should clean it up. Graffiti? Who puts it on the lavatory walls? You? Me?
In other countries, even elementary school children clean their own classrooms every day. Why not in the USA?
