Employing Illegal Aliens

As usual the elitist, liberal Times editorial staff, like the Washington insiders and their cohorts in the fourth estate, just doesn’t get it (editorial, “The Zoe Baird Affairs: What Does It Say About America?” Jan. 23).

Yes, she broke the law but the public gagged on her hypocrisy and cheapness. She acted like a penny-pinching miser.

She and her husband earned over $600,000 per year. Does anyone believe that if she had advertised a post offering $50,000 for well-qualified staff, she would not have been inundated with offers? She acted not like a good mother but like a corporate lawyer scrutinizing the bottom line, not in the interest of the client (her child) but in the interest of herself.
