Police Give $20,000 to School Sports Program

The El Monte Police Department has donated $20,000 from its narcotic asset forfeiture account to the Mountain View School District for an after-school sports program.
The program will give students in grades four through eight recreational alternatives to drugs.
Sports will be for two hours daily and drug education activities will be one hour a week.
