Walter Payton, the NFL’s all-time rushing leader, and Chuck Noll and Bill Walsh, coaches who won a total of seven Super Bowls, head the list of 15 finalists for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Joining them were offensive linemen Bob Brown, Larry Little, Tom Mack, Dick Stanfel and Dwight Stephenson; quarterback Dan Fouts, cornerback Mel Renfro, defensive end Carl Eller, tight ends Jackie Smith and Kellen Winslow and wide receivers Lynn Swann and Charlie Joiner.
The Hall of Fame Board will vote on Jan. 30 to select the 1993 inductees.
