Bank Purchase Planned: Communications & Entertainment Corp., which has provided financing for such recent films as “1492” and “The Bad Lieutenant,” has entered into an agreement to acquire the Metropolitan Bank for Savings in New York for $15.5 million. ComEnt, which is based in Nevada, plans to use the bank to expand its film financing activities.
