Santa’s Visits Start Monday

Monterey Park — Santa Claus and his sleigh will ride atop a firetruck through city neighborhoods starting Monday.
His entourage will be escorted by police cars, and volunteers from local high schools will give candy canes to children from 4 to 8:30 p.m.
Santa’s visits are scheduled in the following areas:
Monday--North of Graves Avenue and south of Hellman Avenue between New Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard.
Tuesday--South of Graves Avenue and north of Pomona Boulevard between Garfield Avenue and the east city limits.
Wednesday--South of Harding Avenue and north of Pomona Boulevard between Atlantic Boulevard and Garfield Avenue.
Thursday--South of Garvey Avenue and north of College View Drive between Atlantic Boulevard and the west city limits.
