Hurst Receives Top Faculty Honor at GCC

Glendale Community College awarded its 1992 Distinguished Faculty Award to chemistry and astronomy Prof. David O. Hurst, a faculty member since 1964. Hurst has developed two courses for the college’s astronomy program and has had several articles published.
Nominees for the award are chosen by faculty and students, with an Academic Senate committee making the final determination.
