Bakersfield 30, Antelope Valley 7--Running back Steve Wofford rushed 27 times for 194 yards, 141 in the second half, to lead Bakersfield. Wofford scored on a 52-yard run and two one-yard runs to spark the Drillers (3-0).

Eric McQuown of Antelope Valley (2-1) had two interceptions; his second set up the Antelopes’ only score, McQuown’s one-yard run.
