* Two executives in Burbank-based Walt Disney Co. were promoted to high-level positions in Walt Disney Attractions, the division responsible for the operation of Disney theme parks and resorts, the company said Monday.
Farris E. Carpenter, Disney Attractions’ senior vice president for finance and business planning, will become president of Disneyland International and chief financial officer of Disney Attractions.
Disneyland International is a unit of Disney Attractions and directs the company’s overseas theme parks.
Thomas R. Elrod, senior vice president of marketing for Disney Attractions, was appointed the division’s president for marketing and entertainment.
Both positions are new.
