Britons Guzzle Less

LONDON — Even beer drinkers are feeling the pinch of Britain’s recession.
A Brewer’s Society report Friday said Britons as a whole drank 440,000 fewer pints of beer daily in the 12 months ending June 30, a consumption decline of 1.5% from the comparable previous period.
