Cerritos : Residential, Business Water Rates Increased
- Share via
The city has raised water rates for residential and business customers to offset increased costs of purchasing water from the Metropolitan Water District and of pumping city-owned water, officials said.
The minimum residential charge of $17.50 for 10 units (about 7,480 gallons) of water every two months remained the same. But fees for additional water use went up. The two-month bill for a customer who uses 30 units of water was raised from $29.50 to $36.50, for example.
