Crash Closes Laguna Canyon Road

IRVINE — Police closed a four-mile stretch of Laguna Canyon Road late Wednesday after a car collision in which at least two people were critically injured.
An unidentified man and woman were taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo after the 5:30 p.m. accident, police said. Authorities had few details of the crash late Wednesday.
Police reopened the road about three hours after the crash.
