Positive View of Biofeedback

In response to your article about EEG biofeedback for learning disabilities and behavior problems in the Valley Life Section, June 19, I would like to tell you of our own good experience with the training.
I have a 5-year-old adopted child who some time ago developed severe behavior problems. He was evaluated, and fetal alcohol syndrome was diagnosed. We had no idea about this history when we adopted the child. This has made life very difficult for our family. I am a nurse and therefore knew the channels through which help could be sought.
Our son has been helped tremendously with EEG biofeedback training. He’s 100% better than he was 10 months ago when he started training. We tried medication, but that would only last for a certain amount of time. This technique has been the light at the end of a very long tunnel for us. He has made so much progress even at school.
Thank you for sharing this article with the public. I’m sure that other parents have been struggling and are looking for help for their children.
