TEEN RELIEF: The county’s newest alcohol treatment center, which holds its opening ceremonies today, isn’t for just anyone: You have to be 12 to 17 years old. Touchstones in Orange, privately run on county funds, is a live-in center with its own school and has operated for two months. The results: Fourteen patients are still in, nine dropped out. “We’re pleased with that rate,” director James O’Connell says. “These young people are changing their lives.” . . . Right now, the center has slightly more girls than boys.
