Growing Radishes is Simple Fun

If you would like to introduce your children or grandchildren to the wonders of plant life, get them started with the simplest of all lessons--growing radishes. They will not only witness the miracle of germination and growth, but they actually taste their success.

Help them prepare a bed and sow two or three rows of seed. Then if they’re eager for more, start them on other vegetables or on an easily growing annual such as zinnias or petunias. Chances are you’ll enjoy it as much as they will.
