Essay Contest Finalists Win Books, Certificates

Yadira Ramos of Grandview Junior High School in Valinda and Dorothy Joan Marquez of Ramona Convent Secondary School in Alhambra were among finalists in the Cinco de Mayo essay contest sponsored by USC.
Yadira competed in the Spanish category grades 7-9, Dorothy in the English category grades 10-12.
They received certificates and books.
