CEO Ousted at Parent of Fidelity Federal Bank: Citadel Holding Corp. of Glendale announced in a terse news release that William C. Walbrecher “would no longer be serving” as chief executive or president of the parent company or of its main unit, Fidelity Federal Bank. The company said it expects to name a successor Friday, subject to the approval of the Office of Thrift Supervision. Company officials could not be reached for comment. Walbrecher was named president and chief executive of Citadel and Fidelity in late 1989 after serving as executive vice president of First Nationwide Bank. Last year, Fidelity’s profit fell 88% to $2.7 million.
