Cosby Doctors: Up the road apiece at the University of Massachusetts, Bill Cosby was on hand to watch his wife, Camille O. Cosby, receive her doctoral degree in education. Her dissertation was on the influence of television imagery on the self-perception of young African-Americans. Both Cosbys received master’s degrees from the school. Bill Cosby got his doctorate in education from the university in 1976.
