Hundreds of TV Sets Explode in Netherlands

THE HAGUE — More than 200 people across the country called a consumer hot line this week with reports of television sets that exploded or caught fire.
The country’s consumer safety institute set up the line Monday after receiving reports that 10 sets had gone up in smoke since January.
