2 Wounded in Separate Incidents

SANTA ANA — Two men were seriously wounded Friday night in separate shooting and stabbing incidents, police said.
A 26-year-old man was shot in the chest after an apparently gang-related argument, Police Lt. Dave Petko said. The shooting occurred about 6:30 p.m. outside a home on Shelley Street. Witnesses told police they saw three men running from the scene.
The man, whose identity was not immediately available, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange.
In an unrelated incident, a man walking in a parking lot near 5th and Jackson streets was stabbed in the chest about 7:30 p.m. after two men demanded money, police said.
The victim was also taken to UCI Medical Center, police said. His identity and age were not available.
Police said they have arrested no one in the two incidents.
