El Camino Real Pair Team on 3-Hitter, 5-2

Terry Morrow and Jason Sipperley combined on a three-hitter and Mike Smith homered to lead El Camino Real High past San Fernando, 5-2, Tuesday in a Northwest Valley Conference baseball opener.
El Camino Real improved to 5-1; San Fernando dropped to 4-2.
Morrow (3-1), a senior right-hander, struck out seven in five innings and allowed solo home runs by Luis Rodriguez and Jose Nunez. Sipperley pitched two innings of hitless relief and earned his second save.
Dan Cey, Justin Balser and Evan Howland each had two hits for El Camino Real. Balser drove in two runs.
