Catcher John Orton, who has a sore right shoulder, is considered day-to-day. “He’s got to feel good for a couple days in a row, and then we’ll take a shot with him,” Rodgers said. . . . Catcher Lance Parrish, who was hitless Tuesday, is batting .115. Gary Gaetti, also hitless, is batting .154. “You’re always concerned when a guy’s not swinging the bat well, and neither of them is,” Rodgers said. “We’re not panicked. (But) it’s very important that Lance starts to swing the bat better.”
