MONTREAL — McDonald’s has asked a court to block a condom store’s sales of the McCondom.
The Oak Brook, Ill.-based fast food chain says the name McCondom violates its McLanguage trademark, which it says covers more than 75 products such as McRib, McCone or McKids.
McDonald’s also contends that La Capoterie’s logo on the McCondom--a stylized letter M in yellow print--is an illegal copy of its registered golden arches.
