TRANSIT TUG: Despite an eleventh-hour appeal from Garden Grove officials, the county’s transportation agency voted Monday to move its headquarters and other operations to the city of Orange. . . . Now divided between Garden Grove and Santa Ana, the Orange County Transportation Authority staff will move to an office building on South Main Street near La Veta Avenue in Orange. The site was chosen partly because a planned monorail line would go right by it. . . . Orange’s entire city council showed up to make sure the agency didn’t change its mind.
