Thai Airways to Move Headquarters to L.A.: Thai Airways International will move its North American headquarters to Los Angeles from Seattle and plans to boost service to Tokyo and Bangkok from the city. “The regional office will be closed gradually over the summer,” airline spokesman Claus Jensen said. Effective March 29, the airline’s four flights per week from Seattle to Tokyo and Bangkok will be shifted to Los Angeles. There are 118 Thai Airways employees in Seattle. An unspecified number will be transferred to Los Angeles, Jensen said.
