The Settlement Is Right: A veteran hostess on the TV game show “The Price is Right” who was hurt in the line of duty has been awarded $1.3 million by the jury hearing her negligence suit against CBS. The Los Angeles Superior Court jury gave the award to Janice Pennington, who has been on more than 4,000 “Price Is Right” shows during the last 20 years. Pennington was knocked off a stage by a TV camera during a taping of the show in June 1988 and broke her right shoulder.
