MUSIC MAKER: Deborah Traylor, above, managed to get Tower Records to set up a new category in its stores across the nation last year: sacred music. Now she wants to get the same new category established at the Grammy awards. . . . Traylor is an owner of PHD Productions in Huntington Beach, which last year started distributing sacred music with two recordings from St. Michael’s Abbey in El Toro. She says Grammy officials put sacred music in either gospel or classical divisions, “so of course we didn’t get nominations.”
