Peakies in London: Why were all those people were carrying logs through London’s West End over the weekend? It was “Twin Peaks” fever. A 24-hour “Twin Peaks” marathon, during which all episodes of the cult series were screened, drew a sellout crowd of Peakies who came dressed as Log Ladies, Laura Palmers and, of course, Agent Coopers. There was no sign of British reserve as they snacked on cherry pie and Damn Fine Coffee and shouted lines in unison with the on-screen actors, rivaling the fanatics drawn to the “Rocky Horror Picture Show.”
