11 in Israeli Army Face Trial Over Raid by Arabs

JERUSALEM — Israel’s chief military advocate has decided to put eight officers and three privates on trial in connection with a raid on an army camp last month in which suspected Arab guerrillas hacked three soldiers to death.
An army statement said the advocate, Brig. Gen. Ilan Schiff, believed the men had shown negligence and failed to follow army orders.
