Former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes is expected to be the next opponent for undisputed heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, probably on June 5 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Kathy Duva, Holyfield’s publicist, would not confirm the fight, but said an announcement on the champ’s next foe probably would be made today.
