Germany’s double world sprint champion Katrin Krabbe said she believed she knew who had tampered with a urine sample to bring about her four-year suspension, but refused to say whom she suspected.
The former East German, in her first television interview since she and two fellow athletes were suspended last week, said there had been irregularities in drug tests conducted in South Africa.
Krabbe, Grit Breuer and Silke Moeller were suspended after German doping expert Manfred Donike said urine samples submitted by the three in a random drug test were from the same person.
