Men Shot After Car Hits Parked Vehicle

Two men, who were shot after their car collided with a parked car at Marlborough Avenue and Wightman Street, were recovering Sunday at Mercy Hospital.
Omar Zamora, 20, and Pablo Burgus, 21, were driving in the City Heights neighborhood Saturday night when their car struck an unoccupied parked car, a San Diego police spokesman said. As the pair attempted to leave, two men approached and started shooting at their car. The assailants then fled on foot, police said.
